PAB is on the ball, go spend 4-5 years in uni and learn the theory and prac. Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience. George Carlin Re: Online interior decorating course 5Jan 07, 2015 6:51 pm surfprado I don't think an online course would suffice being a "qualified" interior decorator/designed. The course I mentioned above is 100% on-line and offered by Curtin Uni in Perth (it's an on-line version of their in-house course). Once completed, you are "qualified" just with no experience - exactly the same as any other uni student who competes a full time degree. ----------------------------------------------- http://pab34newdigs.blogspot.com.au/ ----------------------------------------------- Re: Online interior decorating course 6Jan 20, 2015 7:34 pm Did my course via correspondence as I lived 3 hours away from Sydney. Had there been an online course 20 years ago I would have done it in a heart beat! It's up to the individual to learn as much as they want, and in this field of work the learning NEVER stops. I've been working very strongly via the net for over 8 years.... Decorators and designers are 2 very different fields and people need to know the difference. I'm a fully qualified interior decorator and a colour expert. You build it and I'll colour it, internal and external. All of what I have learnt was from correspondence and hard work after my course was over.....topped my class! There we go surfprado, as you can see I do not agree with your comment.
