Have a look on ebay. You occasionally see Alessi stuff. And you can get it shipped from overseas. You may have to check who stocks it in Melbourne though. Often smaller places. You can also purchase from a licensed Alessi store in Sydney. Google it. Jo I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. So good for prices. Paula Re: Silver Bowl 33Jul 14, 2008 1:22 pm Update on the silver bowl - I found two
One is a rather large one that I have put on the coffee table with some balls in. I have added green as my feature colour (yes there is lime green there) - still need to introduce more. Here is the one on the coffee table. You can see my new rug under it. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Looking up to the dining area Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The other thing I found was a brown bowl for the dining table as I have moved the silver vase to the entry hall - thought this ties in nicely - again with the balls to bring the green in. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The one for the entry hall is one that I found on the net (see previous post) but got it at the local chemist - they have beautiful things, I always go in to check. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Dont think I will keep those balls in - may keep it empty, this is where the silver vase now lives. Just have to decide on a feature colour for this space then intorduce it to the hall table. Paula Re: Silver Bowl 35Jul 14, 2008 3:06 pm haywgl Gorgeous selections Paula! Love the idea of the balls - shame my DD would think they were something to throw around Maybe when she is older I could get some Yes only been able to get things like that now that the kids are older. Although my kitten had a good play with them the other day when we were out Paula Re: Silver Bowl 36Jul 14, 2008 7:29 pm Very nice Paula, they look great! I love the way you have pulled together the colours and added touches of silver and white. Very nice.
Yes I have to avoid balls. At every display my DD managed to play with, and move the balls . We had to travel back to one display to take the balls back that had mysteriously ended up in her pocket.
