Our ensuite has the following combination, Essential Moccha, Gloss Ivory wall Skirting and shower wall tiles (no 03203) and Loft Beige in the shower floor- no 79152. We have Listello Define Chocolate Feature tile in the shower. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The main bathroom has the loft beige shower floor tile, with white shower tile and bath tile. The main floor tile in the bathroom is as is in the main areas of the house and the shower feature tile is the Listello Cats Eyes White (no 03100LG). The gloss white tile is also the kitchen splash back for now. The large tile in this pic is the main tile throughout the house. Re: Your thoughts on our Colour Selections So Far... 4Jun 07, 2008 9:16 pm Paula Hi Matt, A friend of ours has light tiles in her alfresco - they show up dirt and dust like you wouldnt believe, even rain drops discolour them - just a thought. Hi Paula, Thanks for that, something to think about definately, although the girlfriend is a bit of a tidy person so either of us usually gives it a clean out once every week or two at our rental. But definately something to think about. By the way, love your new house, looks fantastic. Its beautiful. Re: Your thoughts on our Colour Selections So Far... 5Jun 07, 2008 9:25 pm Your selections look really nice but I agree with Paula that light colours are hard to keep clean. My tiles are not nearly as light as the ones you have selected and they could do with cleaning every day. They show up every bit of fluff, dog hair, human hair, water, footprints, etc... I already miss my lino from the old house.
Admittedly, mine are harder to keep clean because I have a dog who lives both inside and outside and he, I think, was a pig in a former life, but I think you'll find with such light coloured tiles it won't be enough to clean them maybe once a fortnight. Received keys to my new home on 16/5/08 Re: Your thoughts on our Colour Selections So Far... 6Jun 07, 2008 9:56 pm mcarrigg Paula Hi Matt, A friend of ours has light tiles in her alfresco - they show up dirt and dust like you wouldnt believe, even rain drops discolour them - just a thought. Thanks Matt The last thing you want to be doing is mopping out your alfresco along with all the cleaning you do inside. Maybe use the lighter tile as a feature somewhere? Keep up the good work with the photos!! Thanks for using my formate! For your downpipes I would suggest Dune, Jasper will be too dark against your brickwork, therefore too obvious! Eaves….try ½ Dune. Fresco tiles, make sure the grout is dark.
