Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 May 30, 2008 7:24 pm Hi Mish,
We are putting in a shed, and have decided on two colours to choose from. We currently have Jasper on the guttters and downpipes. Should we -do the shed in Jasper -do it in stone colour (I think its a colourbond colour) -do roof and spouts in Jasper and walls in stone? Keep in mind it will go behind this brudhed box fence so you will only see the top 1/3. That way it will be hidden behind the fence. If you do a lighter colour it well be seen….no one wants to look a shed. Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Shed colour 4May 30, 2008 10:14 pm Paula
As I've said before I'm thinking of stealing the screening idea for the shed as I've got a 4 x 3 shed no one needs to see. So if you've got more shots of the shed area I'd love to see them. Is it just a standard paling fence covered with brushwood, or does it have the palings (vertical bits) as well. mmm....donuts Homer Simpson 1956- Links: Site Costs Ready Reckoner | H1 Addiction Medical Advice | Château TDL: The Backyard Re: Shed colour 5May 30, 2008 10:26 pm to_do_list Paula As I've said before I'm thinking of stealing the screening idea for the shed as I've got a 4 x 3 shed no one needs to see. The fence is all brushed box. I will post pics as I'm not good with the tecnical lingo! *P* mentioned a wood preservative which you spray on to "keep" the color in connection with Matt's fence I think, you may have to stain it and then preserve it to get the color back. Question - if you push on the fence does the brushwood stuff move because there doesn't look like there's anything supporting it from behind? mmm....donuts Homer Simpson 1956- Links: Site Costs Ready Reckoner | H1 Addiction Medical Advice | Château TDL: The Backyard Re: Shed colour 7May 30, 2008 10:37 pm to_do_list Question - if you push on the fence does the brushwood stuff move because there doesn't look like there's anything supporting it from behind? It is quite solid!! DS started using it as a footy fence the thing didnt move. He wont be doing that again!! It seems very compact and tough - if that makes sense.. Now I know the stuff....it's the stuff they use around estates which can stand up on its own....probably 'spensive but I only need about 10 metres of it.....will do some research. Probably this stuff....so easy even old blokes can do it.... be careful as it catches fire quite easily (vandals) and creepy crawlies love brush fencing. However it looks fantastic (IMO) and lasts for a long time. She has had hers up for at least 15 years and it looks pretty good even now. Here they are. DH's shed hiding behind the fence - colours work well. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Looking from enrty. There is a big sliding door that opens to the front. there is also doors at one end. Doesnt look like much room to move from the pic, but there is plenty of room to get around if necessary. Petal, the stools fit under the chairs and the chairs al fit under the table so in winter it tucks away like a cube.
