Just wondering if anyone can provide some advice. We are selecting colours for our new house initially I had cool greys in mind but I haven't been able to find the right tone and realised the cool greys can look a little sterile and cold. So I moved to warm greys, BUT I don't want brown and unfortunately I am struggling to find the balance.
Questions
OUTSIDE:
1. Has anyone used Dulux Missouri Mud as their render colour (or on a wall)? If so, does it look grey or does it end up throwing more brown?
2. Has anyone used Dulux Warm Granite. Can you comment about whether it is greyer than Missouri Mud? Or do you have any images?
We have a lot of render as its a big house and I want the colour to have depth but not be too cold or too brown.
3. We are planning to offset the render (one of the two colours above) with darker pillars. Anyone used Dulux Deep Walnut, Dulux Homebush or Dulux Charcoal light that can advise which is the nicest grey shade and/or have images.
INSIDE
4. Can anyone advise whether Dulux Bleaches Half or Dulux Grey Pebble Half is the softer more subtle grey shade? (we are offsetting with Lexicon 1/4 for trims, ceiling, doors etc & white shutters).
I don't want the walls to be too dark but I also don't want them to blend in and look white. I wanted a subtle grey tone to give a Hamptons look and feel.
If you have any suggestions I would be very grateful as I feel like I've started to go in circles second guessing the colours and overthinking it all. I have so many sample pots its becoming a little ridiculous!
