Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge Re: Wet Area Tiles 21Jun 06, 2008 11:37 pm We have gorgeous '80's lino in our rental - which is actually a breeze to keep clean - but NO, not considering transplantig it to my new place!!! As 3 of my 4 cherubs are boys, I'm thinking about maybe putting the unpolished porcelains in their ensuites, and having the polisheed in main ens, laundry, powder room and my daughter's ensuite...still not 100% sure and I have to finalise , once aand for all, on Tuesday! Re: Wet Area Tiles 22Jun 10, 2008 9:06 am Oh the lino! Yeh we had the pleasure of having lino through wet areas in our previous rental...and yes it was easy to clean! When we moved our washing machine had some rusty sort of stuff underneath it and it came right off! But that will be the only upside to Lino
Good luck Petal and let us know how u go...pics would be nice Re: Wet Area Tiles 23Jun 10, 2008 6:14 pm OK, tile dilemma is OVER, we did our reselection today, and are very happy! I decided to stick with the polished porcelain in a 600x600 in our ensuite, and the same (which only came in a polished porcelain) in 300x600 in daughter's ensuite, a matt tile in 300x600 on the 3 boys' ensuite floors, and a the same tile as boys' ensuites, but in the polished porcelain 600x600 in the powder room and laundry. The kids will all have a square edged 300x600 white gloss tile in their showers, and each will have a different type of glass feature. Really happy with all of it, and the consultant this time was soooo much more helpful. I'll post pics when it's done, if you like! Re: Wet Area Tiles 24Jun 11, 2008 8:52 am yeh pics would be great! I am thinking of polished too in the ensuite now...coz i love the look of them and the cleaning factor.
