Well done, any photos of that glass door/wall?

I don't know that this is the preferred method, though. We only did it b/c it cost us $50, and we knew it would only be for a few years. Mind you, it looked fantastic, you would never have known!!! I would never have thought of converting a glass door to glass splashback! Is it easier to clean the cooking oil splattered onto glass or easier to clean tiles? Re: Confused with colours 23May 28, 2008 5:45 pm Sorry, Michelle, no photos - it's all since gone under the demolisher's crane!!!
Sammy, the tiles that were there were a HORRID flashback to the gaudy 1970's - 4 tiles made up a flower (well 4 PETALS, really ) in browns, dirty green , red and orange, so you didn't notice much dirt on them!!! We actually did that reasonably quickly after we moved in...gee, I can't imagine why!!! Still, I would say, yes, the glass is easier to clean - and no grout, which is good, esp for a splashback. Re: Confused with colours 24May 29, 2008 10:50 am What about glass tiles? I've seen some really nice ones at Beaumont tiles recently. They are quite large but around $55 each plus labour. They have some nice frosted patterns in the glass. I wish i have a photo to show. Maybe Michelle may know what i am talking about? Re: Confused with colours 25May 29, 2008 7:41 pm Glass tiles are now coming in all shapes…..pricy but very nice.
Glass tiles are a good option….but there’s always that matter of grout, where glass cuts out that.
