Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Apr 07, 2014 5:34 pm I want to do a feature wall over my mantle piece, but needs to be a darkish colour (I burn candles on the mantle piece and currently has smoke stain up walls that is very visible), but I dont want the room to them seem smaller. All other walls are currently painted in 1/4 strength Raw Cotton. I have choc brown furniture , rug is mainly dark blue, but has red, apple green, mustard yellow and purple, accessories are mostly red. Any ideas on colour would be greatly appreciated. I will be painting this myself. Re: Ideas needed on feature wall colours 3Apr 09, 2014 6:01 am Ooh that's nice, Maximus! Looks good with your bricks. What colour are your bricks, if you remember?
