"Light green" still covers quite a spectrum of shades. A neutral/beige/stone could look good. Or even a grey could look good. Also cream could look good. Will depend if you want something in contrast or something to blend in. Maybe a photo or a better description of the tone of the green?? Also, consider if you intend for the wall colour to remain that colour for a few years at least and whether you really need to choose the carpet based on the wall colour. (For eg, if you plan on changing wall colour in a year or two, I wouldn't worry too much - and unless your are considering some out of the norm carpet colour, probably can't go too wrong with anything fairly neutral - but I'm no interior decorator ).
