Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 May 13, 2013 5:33 pm Hey guys, Can anyone recommend a good wall paper hanger in Melbourne? It's only a small job. 1 Wall about 1500mm wide, standard height. Also, if anyone can give me an idea of what sort of price i should expect that would be rad too. Oh well, I could come round and do it if I was not so busy... I can even repair torn wallpaper. Maybe I should do a video... Buy a cheap roll or two and try it... If you ever licked a stamp and put it on the envelope, you can hang wallpaper... check youtube for more... I did my dressing room myself and it was a bit fiddly, around a door, window, wall vents, sockets, picture rail. Just take your time, be thorough and allow enough paper and you'll be fine. Re: Wallpaper hanger - Melbourne 14Jan 20, 2014 3:35 pm I would never do it myself! Wallpaper is so expensive and would look horrendous if you messed it up! I am getting an number of our walls wallpapered and have purchased the paper from Porter's Paints. They gave me a list of recommended people that they work with and who many interior designers use (so must be good). The most highly recommended was Walter Kay (PM me for his number). By a 4000x2700 wall he quoted me $440- however gave a small discount since he is doing a few rooms. I have a number of others that were recommended so let me know if you want the numbers http://chasingcoconut.blogspot.com.au/ Re: Wallpaper hanger - Melbourne 15Feb 25, 2014 1:52 pm i've used the wallpaper man, he's in melbourne and he is a fantastic wallpaper hanger, he was cheap too and he came straight away when i called him on o49ooo1274. Re: Wallpaper hanger - Melbourne 18Jan 21, 2015 12:12 pm Hi, I had one company put up some wallpaper for our shop, it was a disaster! I was passed onto Walter Kay and he was so professional and fixed it up straight away. he got it ready for us just in time for our opening. His number is 0437 716 536. I do enjoy the drama:-D In his latest two videos he has started bringing security guards to site, I am waiting for the punch on to begin lol 6 45549 It's all about wireless, self install now.
