Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 May 10, 2013 9:49 pm Hi all! I currently have several rooms in my unit painted lexicon half (a very white off white) and dark wooden parquetry floors. I was considering getting venetian blinds to match the floor but someone mentioned that dark blinds can make a room look small. I'm concerned that if I go with white venetian blinds it will 1) Make the room appear too white 2) Make the Lexicon walls appear even more offwhite (blue) Feedback and advice would be greatly appreciated. Re: Timber Blinds - Room Small? 2May 11, 2013 7:34 pm This really does depend on the size of the room and the amount of natural light coming in through the day. If the rooms are small I would think about white Venetians, letting the floor become the dominate in the room. If the rooms are large go a timber look. By the way, you don't have to have white Venetians you can have off white which will solve the problem of the blue in the Lexicon.
