After a large piece artwork prob 100x200cm and another like 120x120cm
I prefer abstract type paintings rather than paintings of things
Thanks!
This website sells a lot of different art prints that you can choose to buy framed or unframed http://www.allposters.com.au/
They also have a section of canvas prints.
I did a quick location search in Western Australia and "Abstract Art" and found the below pieces by local artists.
There are more in Australia but I guess you have to factor in postage

Hope this helps!
Finding a huge one or 2 that coordinate for theatre is going to be hard
This is the painting we have now but I don't want any red/oranges etc in new house (d0dgy photo - dark here this morning). It's 100x200cm
Where are the above two you've posted from???
Love them both!!
How much is very expensive?

Umm well the one OH loves is $1300. But it's very big. Don't think we'll get it though, maybe a bit too dear.
We didnt examine prices too much but there are plenty around the $500 - $700 mark.
Freedom also has some nice ones for $300 - $500.
Did you take photo of one your OH likes?
http://www.tillyandgirl.com/art.html, and have recently bought some prints for our entrance.
Whilst they don't currently have the sizes that you're after, I'm sure you could talk to Anna about commissioning a piece.
Leanne, I'm a big can of this site - Whilst they don't currently have the sizes that you're after, I'm sure you could talk to Anna about commissioning a piece.
Tilly&Girl is my art store and I would be happy to do a quote for anyone who would like a commissioned piece. You don't have to stick to the colours you see in the current collection either - I'm currently working on a piece for a client which is 100x71cm and features soft greys, blues and a little splash of yellow. She sent me photos of her bedroom and we decided on a colour scheme from that.
Enough of a plug for me though! Other places for affordable art include Adairs (occasionally - their prices can be quite variable) and I always, always check Etsy.com, Society6.com and AllPosters.com when looking for clients. Another thing is to visit local artist markets - most towns have one and you might spot the perfect piece, or find an artist who can do a commission just for you.
