A darker version of the Winnow.

Hi Michelle, you are a busy beaver! Much appreciated, but I am concerned, my Taubmans Colour "Your Shadow" isn't there - it's pretty beigey! UO

Annietom, this post was done 10 months ago.
It’s probably due for an up date…No one took any notice of it, so I forgot about it, thanks for pulling it back up.
I’m sure your colour is lovely, but just doing the colours that are there took me forever!

This is so helpful!! Thanks for posting this info Michelle, even if it was months ago. I'm glad someone bumped it up because it is just what I was after.
If I get a chance, I’ll update all the old threads.
Don’t forget to look into my sticky posts at the top of my forum…..there is information in there as well.

OMG this is brilliant! I saw this post a few weeks ago when I first joined Homeone, and then spent literally hours searching for it again the other night. I gave up at about 1am because I couldn't find it and didn't know what to search for! It is sooooo helpful, thanks Michelle for posting it a few months ago and thank you to Annietom for bumping it

I might add some feature wall colours there as well…..that should spice it up for everyone.
And If I get real adventurous, I might put the actual colours up, but I can only do this with Dulux, as the other sites don’t allow access to their colours like Dulux does.

Thanks Michelle, this is just excellent, I appreciate your time
I tried to look at the colours on Dulux last night but I couldn't find some of them for some reason. I tried the Mycolour program too but I the colours there seemed pretty limited (i couldn't find many whites there). Knowing me I was looking in the wrong place though - story of my life!

I’ve noticed that the Dulux site may not take old colours without the paint mix code, and only I have those, or anyone with an old fandeck.
I’m pretty busy the next couple of nights, so I’ll get to this post and an exterior one in here somewhere, over the weekend.

Up date on the Dulux colours, all the paint colours are now added.
Remember….depending on your monitor, these colours may look totally different to what they really are.

Thank you Michelle - You have been busy
Just a quick and very silly question. You mentioned the Dulux Winnow and Slip Cast go well with timber - do you mean dark timber? I have a house which has brown stained skirtings and doors, as well as cedar venetions. I was looking for a light colour for the walls. Would this be a good choice?
Thanks, very grateful for all your work on this

I have Winnow in my home now, I love it so much I’m putting it in my next one as well.
Yes both colours go well with any timber!

Oh it really is a lovely colour isn't it. Right then, I think a visit to the hardware shop is in order this weekend for some samples
We're replacing the carpet up at that place as well and just looking at your photo I think your carpet is similar to the colour I have picked out too - so it's good to see it in real life.

It won't be the same as yours, its very different

Hey Mich we are using Wattyl Sierra Snow as our flow colour - something that the Interior Designer had never considered before. Since we can only have full strength - builder will not allow half or quarter strengths - and we wanted a neutral colour with no yellow undertones. What do you think?
Some things are worth waiting for.

That’s a lovely colour Kyton!
Don’t know why a designer would be surprised about using it…….to me it’s a perfect choice.

Thks Michelle, I'd be really interested in seeing it.
This is for our other house up in the blue mtns (not the unit which I sent you piccies of). We've tenants in at present but they are moving out in a few months. We will be recarpeting/painting/lino and redoing the garden (all of which I am dreading!). I have started looking at carpets and the colour I'm leaning towards seems very similar to yours. You have great taste Very Happy

Ok….this is my carpet…its called Herb Garden, at the moment I don’t remember the colour name. This carpet was sold by Carpet Court, I love it and so do all my clients that have come here. It’s 100% polypropylene.
BUT there seems there were problems with the carpet and some people weren’t happy so Carpet Court stopped selling it.
You may still be able to get it, hopefully so, I want to use it again!
So this is the carpet with grey tiles and pebble feature tiles
This is the carpet with Winnow skirtings and walls….

I guess I should say…the carpet has a black fleck through it, good hiding properties.
(hides dead fly’s…not that I HAVE any of those!! ) and hides dust and dirt as well.
