Cheers, Re: My colours - I need your advice! 3Jan 25, 2013 9:58 am d@n Why would you pick woodland grey with a light roof colour? Why not?? I think the OP would need more information on why you think this is an issue. Otherwise its not a very helpful comment. We are having dune with monument after some consultation and I think it will look lovely given all of the other colours we have chosen and how it tied them together. I think shale grey and woodland grey wood look better than surfmist and woodland grey as surfmist is very white. Though it depends on the render and other exterior colours for pavers and the like. Re: My colours - I need your advice! 4Jan 25, 2013 10:00 am Also that link under internal colours takes you to a log in page Re: My colours - I need your advice! 5Jan 25, 2013 1:26 pm Thanks for that SmithiesWife. I will put them all up tonight again using another program. I have slightly changed my colours as I realise now, how ghastly the internal colours look for the kitchen. With the help of some others I have come up with better interior colours I think. Cheers, Re: My colours - I need your advice! 6Jan 25, 2013 4:29 pm SmithiesWife d@n Why would you pick woodland grey with a light roof colour? Why not?? I just don't see why you would create such a strong contrast between roof and gutters. Either blend it with the roof or with the fascia. Re: My colours - I need your advice! 7Jan 25, 2013 5:13 pm Look forward to hearing what you've come up with tippy toes. D@n - no probs with your reasoning. I agree completely that the surfmist would look quite stark compared to the woodland grey. Not sure about the shale grey though. Re: My colours - I need your advice! 8Jan 25, 2013 7:50 pm Hi SmithiesWife and D@n, I am not good with colours and that this is why I have asked for suggestions. The house will be brick, Austral bricks, Coach House Centennial Blend or Coach House Cream. I haven't decided. I will be going to have a look at some houses tomorrow to help me make a decision. The reason I need a lighter roof is because I am having solar panels, and if the roof is dark the solar panels heat up too much which causes them not to work efficiently. I would like suggestions on the colourbond colours you think would suit these bricks and also a front door colour that would suit. Dulux paints please. My windows will be white, I think this will look fresh. I have changed my internal colours: Dulux limed white quarter for the walls. Polytec melamine sheen in Polar White for the lower cupboards, however I would like to use one of the greys in sheen for the cupboards and open shelving on the back wall. It will need to be deeper than the Dulux limed white. Using white gloss subway tiles for the splashback. The bench will be Quantum Quartz Polar. Michelle, if you could please add your thoughts and anyone else who would like to put their two bobs worth in, I would be grateful for as much advice as possible. Many thanks for your help! Thank you so much for the effort. We will use it to talk with builder. We also had idea of building duplex instead and seeking suggest ions. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=106744 11 13832 Levelling compound Ardit is the best but buy a bag of sand and make sand dam to protect your wood floor 2 15252 XCEM Alpha flooring seems to relatively new and I could not found any reviews.
