just a little query with glass square mosiacs (say brown glass mosiacs with white wall tiles) is the grout between the mosiac squares white or brown do you have a preffered way? also once feature tiles are grouted can they be regrouted over in another colour LOL hehe Re: glass mosiacs and grout choice 2Apr 15, 2008 12:00 pm Hi bec, it’s easy enough to re grout tiles, you just scrap some of the top layer off, then re grout!
As far as your feature tile grout colour, I would keep the colour of the grout closest to the feature colour. So a dark colour is best. Scraping some of the grout off is FAR from an easy job. And doing so with no damage to the edges of tiles is a real challenge. There's no reason to do this in normal circumstances anyway. Grout colorant from Aquamix is the best way to change a colour. It can colour grout and provide a very good seal at the same time. It can change a white grout to black, or a good range of colours in between. It can even change a black grout to white. It just requires that the grout is in good physical condition, and it should be cleaned before application. Ash. You then need to scrap it out, and do again, and I don’t think it’s that hard a job…….. But then again, I’ve been known to do things MEN would give a second thought to! Sure, remove and regrout if the grout is in poor condition. You are such a recalcitrant You're gonna have such a red botty!
