It’s probably a little hard for everyone else to do, because I have fan decks, on a fan deck you will have colours running down the spectrum of the same colour, just different intensities. I always choose colours on the same spectrum. This way your colours are the same colour, but with either more white or black in the mix…..or however it goes. Unless you are doing a feature colour in another colour, these are usually done at least 2 to 3 steppes deeper (for me possibly 4) than the wall colour to make an impact. When choosing feature wall for your home and they are visible to the eye, say 3 in one area (down the hall, dining and family as an example) make sure you pick colours that sit on the same level as each other, (across from each other on the fan deck) this way all your feature colours are of the same intensity! Giving you a balance in colour throughout. Am I making sense?? Below is a fan deck take notice of the colours on the leafs…..they run down in intensity, and get stronger. Well they are suppose to, but this fan deck looks mixed and runs up as well!
