Love the colour Hi LeanneR Where did you get the splashback samples from? Is the sample you have a "clear glass" or "starfire" Appreciate a response. I'm having trouble deciding on a color for the splashback Have been trying to find a couple samples to help us decide. Re: Help on glass splashback colour 23Mar 31, 2013 7:02 pm No idea what glass its on. I got it from showroom at WA GlassKote and its one of their standard colours they had on display Its a very close match to the Dulux Peacock Plume I had picked out so ill just go with their colour instead I think if you want them mailed to you its $10 a sample. If you want a sample of a certain dulux colour (not WA glosskote colours) its $50 per sample and you have to pick it up. Re: Help on glass splashback colour 24Mar 31, 2013 10:30 pm Thanks LeanneR. Does anyone know a place i can get samples of glass splashbacks in victoria? Re: Help on glass splashback colour 25Apr 01, 2013 8:40 am I tried to call around for mine no luck either, it finally went in before Easter, wish I had a sample as I forgot what I'd picked until it went in. Re: Help on glass splashback colour 26Apr 01, 2013 10:47 am joles We have a deep khaki green splashback, Dulux Army Issue. I love it, one of my favourite things in the house. Ours is a lighter colour but also a little Khaki(ish) The colour is Resene "Stun" metallic. I am with you joles. It is also one of the choices I am most happy with. Terrence Malick Re: Help on glass splashback colour 28Apr 03, 2013 6:29 pm For those of us who like to remain fashion conscious, loud or feature coloured splashbacks are no longer the 'in' thing. Trends seem to be a more muted kitchen palette, lifted by feature overheads or bulky pendant lighting etc. If it was me, I'd go neutral with the splashback at the moment. Preferably light. If you thought of using it as a feature, use something else in the kitchen that's easier / less expensive to change down the track, like overhead cupboards, nice rangehood or go a bit crazy with the lighting. All far easier to change than all that glass... Eeeeek. Re: Help on glass splashback colour 29Apr 03, 2013 6:36 pm Changing all overheads would be more expensive than piece glass in our case. I think people should build to their liking not to current trends but guess depends if you're building a long term home In saying that I am considering a grey metallic splashback instead Need to remove glass panel out of concrete without wrecking the glass to get the spa room in, any recommendations on how to do that.
