Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge Re: Help on glass splashback colour 28Apr 03, 2013 6:29 pm For those of us who like to remain fashion conscious, loud or feature coloured splashbacks are no longer the 'in' thing. Trends seem to be a more muted kitchen palette, lifted by feature overheads or bulky pendant lighting etc. If it was me, I'd go neutral with the splashback at the moment. Preferably light. If you thought of using it as a feature, use something else in the kitchen that's easier / less expensive to change down the track, like overhead cupboards, nice rangehood or go a bit crazy with the lighting. All far easier to change than all that glass... Eeeeek. Re: Help on glass splashback colour 29Apr 03, 2013 6:36 pm Changing all overheads would be more expensive than piece glass in our case. I think people should build to their liking not to current trends but guess depends if you're building a long term home In saying that I am considering a grey metallic splashback instead Need to remove glass panel out of concrete without wrecking the glass to get the spa room in, any recommendations on how to do that.
