Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Sep 29, 2012 9:35 pm Having trouble figuring out what type of lounges we will need for these two rooms. This is our plan: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The media room (front bottom) is 3x4.5m. The family room (towards the back) is 3.06x4.67. We currently just have an old Fantastic Furniture chaise corner lounge, which we'll use for a bit if we have to, but we really want two new ones. This is a link to our current lounge, so you can see the shape: http://www.fantasticfurniture.com.au/Vi ... lar-chaise At first, for the media room, we were thinking of a 3 seater plus two recliners, because the room is long and skinny we can't have anything with corners. Now I'm thinking we need to get those more 'theater style' seating with all recliners, because if the three seater is in the middle, the recliners will be quite far off to the side? Does anyone have a similar room and what have you done? For the family room, we'll put our current lounge in there for now, but I'm thinking of a 3 and 2 seater of some sort. Or does anyone think it could work with a 3 seater and two recliners? There'll be a tv unit type thing in each room, the family room will have a coffee table as well. I haven't really thought about that, if there are more than that it's probably because my friends are over, so maybe we would sit in the family room instead? I also have a beanbag hiding in a cupboard I could probably use...lol I guess a 3+2 seater is only one more seat than a 2+2 seater! 1st build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=59376 *New*-2nd build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70324&p=1154282#p1154282 Re: I need suggestions for seating in family and media rooms 10Oct 02, 2012 7:44 pm check this one out... Those type of seating are really popular for media rooms. I would suggest a couple of Ottomans for coffee table set up's so they can be used for seating as well. I'd use this set-up for both rooms. http://www.superamart.com.au/furniture/ ... ley-43139/ Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: I need suggestions for seating in family and media rooms 12Oct 02, 2012 8:42 pm I do love the Berkeley.
