Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Sep 14, 2012 4:45 pm We are soon putting our house on the market. I want to replace the old carpet in the formal lounge/dining. I'm unsure what current "trends" are (going by the carpet guy haha- the one I liked is old fashioned). As I won't be living in it I want something that will appeal (or not offend) to people. The rooms are well lit with a large window in the loungeroom and dining. Don't know the colours I have on the walls but I'm thinking people may change that anyway so better to get a lighter neutral colour. I don't want to spenmd too much but I don't want cheap looking carpet either. I'm not up on the poly's etc and different blends either (I know I'm not mucvh help) . I know this is vague but any suggestions welcome. Michelle? I know yoiu're the carpet lady. Thanks everyone.
