I like the greys tones which i am seeing alot in the new display homes at the moment. Will soft grey go with blackbutt? Any suggestions? regards Tania Re: Blackbutt flooring -what colour tones goes? 2Aug 11, 2012 6:47 pm If Blackbutt goes with dark greys, it will go just as nice with light greys. Angela would you mind posting some pics or I could supply my email if you don't want to put them on here? Re: Blackbutt flooring -what colour tones goes? 5Aug 14, 2012 4:12 pm Timber floors go beautifully with almost all colours, just try and put a large sample of your paint colour near the timber so you can see what undertones it throws. I would probably use a 'warm' grey to go with timber, rather than a true grey that is quite cold. There is a new Dulux colour called Champignon which I have been thinking of using in a display home - it might work for what you are wanting.
