We're doing a quick reno of our Edwardian single fronted's kitchen, and will be replacing bench tops with Diamondgloss Pure Mineralstone with ABS edging. We can't replace the very dark red/brown floor tiles at this point, so for the new cabinets we're thinking of using Polytec Marina Grey or Malt sheen to bridge the gap between the whitish bench top and dark tiles. Thoughts? We're going to use pressed metal panels for the splashback, which can be painted any Dulux colour with gloss enamel paint, but are struggling to find the right colour. Have tried Sandy Bay but on the walls (which have no natural light) it's looking too pink/mauve. Now thinking of trying either Beige Royal, Grand Piano or Grey Pebble (likely all diluted for walls but full strength on the backsplash) - can I get a second opinion as looking at all these whites to find a decent grey/brown is doing my head in! Think we'll go quarter on the walls with Vivid White for trim, and either full or half in a gloss enamel on the pressed metal backsplash. Thank you! Hi - thanks for your reply.
