Good grief!!
(where's the kids honey?)
Pod bed

I found this website (Posh Tots) about ten years ago and dreamed of being able to build something like it for my own children.

Of course, our house being built has normal 28c ceilings, and I never got any better at woodwork, so my future kiddies will just have to make do with my awesome decorating skills!

Behold:

.... The prices are enough to make me weep. But so gorgeous!
Actually, the second one I posted would be very easy to achieve. It really only requires a curved pelmet and curtains to get the look, the rest could be improvised!
They all look so much fun!
Didn't have beds like this when I was little.
There are some good ideas on http://www.ikeahackers.net under the children category, but not quite as extravagant of some of the pictures posted in here.
WOW
See I am way too practical - all I see is a nightmare to make every day LOL.
All I could think of when looking at that pod bed is that it is missing a padlock....
Very cute, there is no way in he## i am showing the top one to my DD!

Some creative things have to be there when we are planning anything for children. As they learn what they see so better to make things in a proper way and something which they can grasp knowledge in a good manner.
