Re: Home theatre lighting ... what have you done? 13Feb 13, 2013 2:02 pm tengals hi there, how it is done is with a fibre optic star kit.... if on the ground floor, the best and easiest way of doing it is to make a thin suspended/false ceiling to accommodate the kit..... I would prefer to use LEDs rather a than a fibre optic kit becaues I don't need the twinkling ( nice though I'm sure it is) I rather need the saving on space and power that LEDs give. If I can suspend a fibre optic star kit from a false ceiling then why can't I install LED stars on a false ceiling? My electrician said I could not and I don't know why. Could someone who is a plasterer or gyprocker give an opinion. Thanks mate. Yeah good points! Leaning towards Option 3 to get a bit extra space in the cabinets but not going too crazy high (and expensive). Would require a mini… 13 40153 I work with owner, he/she is my man on the ground and I instruct them when to visit the site and take photos and I have other tools in the bag. 4 15516 I am in the same situation, would you be able to give some insights in to this?
