Hi all,
I am just finalising my kitchen cabinetry with our builder and would like some advice on cabinetry edging.
We currently have ABS edging included, but I like the look of the Formica 3mm "rolled edges" at the Laminex display centre (we have chosen Formica Rock Salt as our colour). I asked them which way they would apply a rolled edge to drawers rather than cupboards (the cupboard rolled edge is usually rolled on the side and ABS edging on the top of the doors).. They said the drawers would usually be done the same (rolled on sides and ABS on top of drawers),
I thought it would be the opposite, ie. rolled edge on the top of the drawer and ABS the sides? I'm trying to picture what that would look like if I did the drawers this way? Has anyone done this?
Also I'm open to feedback on if you have ABS edging have you had any issues with it? Given we have a light colour for our cabintry with the subtle grain horizontally we thought the joins would look less obvious with rolled edges. Laminex said when using a light colour you could often see the joins but darker colours it's not an issue.
Welcome you thoughts & experience
