Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Apr 18, 2012 10:22 am Hello, I am currently in the process of building and am trying to finalise some of my color choices. So far the things that have been decided are as follows.. Roof - Shale Gray Colorbond Gutters - Shale Gray Fascia - Shale Gray Windows - Ultra Silver Gloss Bricks - Austral Fawn (with Off white mortar) The house is tri-level so the front of the house i am having trouble picking colors. The upstairs part will be weatherboard. I was originally thinking of matching the weatherboard and rollerdoor and having them both paperbark, and then having the rendered columns a darker Gray color. The more i look at it the more confused i get. http://colrenhouse.blogspot.com.au has some up to date photos which show some of the brickwork that has already occured. Any advice on the following colors would be much appreciated. Weatherboard Rollerdoor Rendered Columns of portico Timber/Color between Rendered Columns and roof of portico Front door Eaves Re: Exterior Colors... D@n, Originally we were going a smaller house and it was going to be a very dark house, and then when we decided on this design we thought it would be too much dark so we decided to go light. When i mentioned dark grey as the rendered columns colors i really meant something that was just a darker than what the rest of the house was. The picture below is a house with the same bricks and mortar as what we are using and would think the rendered columns similar to those. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Thoughts?? I see these the same colour as the roof, to give the front façade a punch. Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Exterior Colors...
