We decided against them mainly because we realised that we are probably going to want to change our lounges every 10 years or so and wouldn't be able to justify it with the expense of the King lounges. They are beautiful lounges though!! Re: King furniture 4Mar 26, 2012 8:57 am we bought a home theatre lounge from there. Its so comfortable, my husband keeps falling asleep . It was expensive (there are some really cheap ones out there) but I think it was worth every penny. Re: King furniture 5Mar 26, 2012 10:49 am I had never heard of King - I just looked up their website and they have some lovely products. Too be honest the lounges don't seem outrageously expensive and I guess I have the same philosophy with sofas as I do with beds - if you're gonna sit on it (sleep on it) everyday, you might as well love it. Re: King furniture 6May 11, 2012 6:23 am Just bumping this up. I'm looking at the Jasper for our theatre room - any feedback? Built the Seaview 36 with Rawson Homes - Read about it on my blog http://lamaisondemorgan.blogspot.com.au/ Re: King furniture 7May 11, 2012 7:04 am Smorgzzz, we looked at most options and one store said honestly for leather quality and price go check out plush. They were right, we ended up getting modern black 2 x singles and 2 1/2 seater fully electric about a year ago and still look great. Re: King furniture 10Jun 30, 2012 10:02 am ^^ The storage of the Delta is in the lower half below the lounge cushion so there shouldnt be a bump? My 2 cents: I have a Jasper and love it - it really was the comfiest when shopping around and still is. It has been used for a bed for guests as well and I love how easy it is to move around. However 2 annoying things, its only been 6 months and the shelf piece has a couple little chips, I noticed that on the display lounge too but thought it was from the amount of people trying it out. Now that I think about it, in the store people are not going to be placing things on the shelf? Secondly, having to plump and flip the back cushions daily - it really looks out of shape if you don't. Also their post customer service leaves a lot to be desired for, delivery dates are non negotiable unless you want to pay for storage for each consecutive day until it can be delivered. My lounge was missing the extra back cushion I ordered and the store I purchased from was useless. I had to liaise directly with the guy in the warehouse!? It was very much a "you're on your own now" mentality. When you are paying that much for a fabric lounge you expect it to be delivered in one piece and I also think the lounge assembly should be included and not an extra service. Re: King furniture 11Jul 01, 2012 12:17 pm We just got our Jasper delivered on Friday and I haven't been able to pull myself off the couch. So happy with our purchase, money very well spent. When the couch was delivered they put it all together for us, don't think that we paid anything extra for this service. But even if they didn't do it its very easy to configure by yourself. The versatility of the couch would have to be the best thing about it. We are living in a small apartment at the moment while waiting for our house to be built. We can have it setup so it fits in the apartment and then when we have more space will buy a few extra pieces and make it a really large couch. King furniture 12Jul 11, 2012 6:30 pm My jasper is on show when you first walk into my house , and everyone that walks in comments on how nice the lounge is. I wouldn't trade it for anything. When I finish work all I want to do is sit on it and watch tv . I highly recommend this lounge to everyone that is looking for a new one. Plus I put mine together myself in half hour and it's easy as. They were going to it together for me but the house was just painted and everything was still wet when I got it delivered. Re: King furniture 13Jul 24, 2012 2:27 pm We have one of their couches on order and I think they are definitely worth the money. They are made here in Australia! Many cheaper couches are not. To me, that is really important! They are made here in Australia! Many cheaper couches are not. To me, that is really important! Most of their couches are made in China, that said they are not bad for the price especially on sale, very comfortable seats. I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending. All their existing trades and businesses don't work with… 14 105617 1 7964 |
