Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Feb 02, 2012 6:55 pm We bought an off-white (stone) coloured leather lounge when we moved into our new home (October 2010). Although I have cleaned it with the Fenice Leather Cleaner, it still seems to have 'grime' in the grain of the leather. Can anyone help with on how to clean this before it looks really bad. I also have a tiny mark on it from ball-point pen which I couldn't move with the Fenice Ink Remover. I rang some leather cleaning companies today, but it is going to cost in the vicinity of $300 for 5 seats Hope someone can help Re: Cleaning a 'white' leather lounge 2Feb 02, 2012 8:13 pm Meguiars make an excellent leather cleaner, it is expensive but well worth it. For the pen mark you could try using a white magic sponge, this stuff removes pen marks of walls easily, just make sure you test it on somewhere you can't see. http://www.meguiars.com.au/products/car ... r-cleaner/ http://www.whitemagic.biz/products/whit ... re-sponges Re: Cleaning a 'white' leather lounge 3Feb 03, 2012 9:55 pm For ink....best thing is hairspray. Yes, believe it or not! Spray it on and it will come straight off. Although then you can see how grotty the couch really is and need to clean it all. I clean our couch with good old velvet soap. Does a great job and after alot of searching on line this is one of the better recommendations. Re: Cleaning a 'white' leather lounge 4Feb 04, 2012 3:21 pm I have a white leather bed - I have used dilluted baby shampoo in a spray bottle - something to do with the pH levels it's not too harsh. Comes up pretty well - but I recommend using a second spray bottle with just plain water to "rinse" otherwise you can get the yellow baby shampoo colout tinge!
