Appreciate some advice please. I"m lost and need some answers by the morning!
I've selected the following colours for my house (it's a heritage listed house and we've got 3m+ ceilings)
Ceiling - Ceiling White
Walls - Hogs Bristle 1/4 strength
Trims (Windows, skirtings, doors) - Antique White 1/2 strength, semi gloss
Built In Wardobes - Antique White 1/2 strength, satin finish
The painter has almost complete 1 room today, and wanted us to see if we're happy with it. Thing is, there is not much of a contrast between the Walls and the Trims as I'd expected. However, I really like the contrast between the ceiling and the walls. So, I"m thinking of changing trims to be painted Ceiling White.
My 2 questions are:-
1) Is it normal for the doors to be painted ceiling white? Am I asking for trouble here with white doors?
2) My wardrobes are due to be installed next week. Now...will it be weird to have it in the original colour of Antique White 1/2 strength...given now nothing in the room will have that colour. Or will it be okay, since it's close to the wall colour anyway? If possible, should I change it to Ceiling White?
Thanks in advance for your advice!
