All of which I have in my home. If you don’t have a green thumb but love greenery, there is a way to have the greenery with out dealing with the real thing.
Not sure how many of you know I worked in a nursery for 6 ½ years when I was younger, but….yes I have a green thumb!!! Lucky me.
But I still prefer to have cut foliage throughout my home for decoration. In my opinion nothing beats greenery in a home, it adds life and atmosphere to any room.
I grow a couple of plants in my garden just so I can use them for my cut foliage; I suggest anyone who wants foliage throughout their home to do the same. It’s important to have the right decorative piece to put your cut leaves into as well, so it makes a statement.
Below are some of my plants, cut foliage and imitation plants to show you the impact greenery can make.
This is my vanity area; the leaves add life to what would normally be a boring space.

This is what’s called “grouping” when you put one or more objects together.

It’s important to only keep hardy indoor plants, ferns and palms, unless in the perfect situation will only give you grief! Talk to your nurseryman about the positions of your indoor plants, they will give you right plant for the right position.
Cut foliage will go anywhere and last at leats 3 weeks!!! Imitation……well, you’ve got them for ever, and worth the expense.
By the way….indoor plants are back in trend again, thank goodness, as they never left my home
