Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Nov 22, 2011 8:41 pm I want to paint the front part of our hallway, it has a bulk head ceiling and feature tiles on the floor, you will see from the pic the area that I have in mind, it will be up to the first lot of pillars. Anyway, I'm wondering what colour to do? The walls are currently chalk beige and the tiles are also a grey/beige colour. I also have to consider those flowers on the hall table which are a lilac colour, and the canvas in the same colours. I'd like a colour that really makes them stand out. I was thinking about a brown or chocolate, but is that too "yesterday"? Another thing to consider is that I need a colour which is suitable for young kids. I do like textured paints too and have done both suede and metallic walls in the past. Open to suggestions, thanks http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i60/Hels-b/Post%20Construction/H1%20Pics/6.jpg Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new.
