It's reasonably light but a dark colour would make it gloomy. Need something that's adaptable so we don't have to repainting in 5 years. Was thinking of British paints blue passion 356 or dulux template quarter with beige carpet. I suspect the former will be too bold. Any thoughts? Ta. If you wanted it to last right through to older years, just use a strong colour but one with a bit of grey in it. It will make the colour a little 'dirtier' so it won't seem so childish when he is older. My little brother has a very deep turquoise/blue/teal colour on his walls. When he was little it was sea themed, and now he was vintage rock and roll posters and lots of black, brown and red. Still looks great!
