It's march and I have nothing to show for this year as far as progress around the house goes. SIGH so frustrating. We did have to move our fence, which cost $$ because we accidently put it in the wrong spot. It was in the right spot at one end and out about 400mm at the front. So frustrating. Anywho I really really hope I can make some kind of progress before the end of year is out. Re: CheerupCharlie's Interior Adventures - Chair is done! 42Mar 13, 2012 5:24 pm I've gone months....without anything happening at my place. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next! We are getting very close to building now, have done most of the selections. Our kitchen will be similar to yours as we have decided to go with a timber top for the island and similar profile for the cupboard doors. I think our wall colour will be similar too. We've gone for lighter, beige colours on the other benchtops/vanities. I can't wait to start! https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43937&start=0 Bought a block in Golden Grove - Jan 2011 Finally finished our design, Mar 2012, *yay* Signed with ADH council consent June 12 Re: CheerupCharlie's Interior Adventures - Chair is done! 50May 31, 2012 1:31 pm Keep looking I'm sure you'll find something. It's really very satisfying doing some things yourself. I've just sewed some curtains for our double glass doors and I'm really excited about them. LOL sad hey? I'll post some pictures soon. Dream come true, I'm headed to your thread now to take a look. Can't wait to see what's happening at your place. rudolf - I love ikea but we're about 5 hours away to our nearest one! There's really very little here to choose from unless you want middle of the road stuff. With my style of home I'm better off looking around for older things and doing them up or waiting till we can do a drive to the city. We're planning on getting a new couch soon for the family room from Ikea, can't wait. I am looking for someone who might have tackled a similar issue as me.
