Growing up with a punk brother I was a bit gothy for many years (a damn lot less these days but still have some of the clothes  ). When I told some friends I was going to build a house, 9 out of 10 times I was asked if I was going to have black walls  I think they were imagining me building the Munster House

Every finger print and mark will stay there forever looking nasty! Paint in a low sheen. The colour looks stunning! I know how striking my blue looks on my fireplace wall, black is even better! Classic colour, with classic selections to go with it. If I was doing another renovation…..I would certainly lean in this direction! Mind you. I’m thinking of repainting my bedroom purple out?????? Sssssshhhhhhhhh, don’t tell anyone, I would tell “MY CLIENTS” to never paint a wall in their bedrooms black!!!
