Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Feb 29, 2012 4:42 pm Okay - I need help! All feedback appreciated. I initially wanted polished porcelain tiles (light colored or white) and I was going to have grey walls, and white kitchen. As I need to buy some new furniture (sold the old stuff when we sold our house) I was planning on buying dining table / chairs / coffee table in a dark brown / black wood colour. Timber venetians would be white. Now I'm wanting dark bamboo floors instead of white tiles, I'm thinking my walls and kitchen colours can remain, but what furniture colour would look best now? White? Not sure how white furniture will hold up with kids. What other colours? Also any suggestions for a lounge colour? Anyone want to just pick all the nice things for me?? TaylaB - I was thinking that everyday marks and things would be easy to clean with kids, I was just worried more about permanent marks, but I guess you can't avoid everything like that. I'm leaning more toward white now. Building at The Ponds (NSW) in 2012! My land is 260m2 (10m x 26m) located in claymore NSW. Under campbelltown council.
