So... Yesterday I entered a contest to win this Selex Blok walk-on platform bed by Milmueble, a fairly well known Italian design duo that some of you may be familiar with. As you can see from the photo above, it's got the walnut-hue wooden base with a crisp red-and-white trim stepping board on the side. I've never been able to afford a platform bed before (lol), but if I were to win this, how would it look in a medium-size condo/apartment bedroom with wooden floors and white walls/ceiling? I'm almost concerned that the wooden floors, combined with the wooden base of the bed, would be too much of the same thing. Am I just being paranoid, or is that a legitimate design concern?
