Hello,
I am in the midst of a bathroom renovation and the new white tiles have made me realise that my doorframes & doors need some updating (they look like nicotine yellow-white in contrast to the gloss white tiles).
As my apartment is concrete render, the door frames are metal and both frames/doors are done in a gloss paint. WOuld it be best to use a gloss or semi gloss paint again?
Main colours throughout Internals
Ceiling /Cornice - standard ceiling white
Main Walls in hallway & living areas - Dulux Berkshire White
Main/2nd Bedroom walls - Dulux hogs bristle 3 coats of half strength
Dining Room Feature Wall - it is inherited from previous owners Ranch mink
Skirting - none, goes straight from carpet to wall.
Window/Sliding Door Frames - are all bronze dark metal, no wooden frames
Doors - NEW COLOUR IN WHITE NEEDED, doorhandles are a brushed silver
Window Treatments - both bedrooms have freedom blinds in bright white while living room has roller blinds in a cream/off white
Flooring throught the unit - sandy beige carpet - quite light in colour
Bathroom floor tiles - light grey/brown tiles (the vanity unit is made in laminate strngy bark with benchtop in caesarstone latte
I would appreciate any advice on what shade of white to paint the doors and metal doorframes (they just look so tragic when next to the glossy white tiles of the bathroom)
so the colour would be sitting beside high gloss white tiles, hogs bristle 1/2 strenght and berkshire white
I hope that I given enough info to get some advice as I just don't know where to start - simply too many whites to pick from!
thanks
A
