Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: exterior colour 5Jan 27, 2008 4:06 pm Cobylee….I was going to start your exterior colours this weekend, but I really need for you to be in the forum more so you can answer questions.
There is 2 ways I can go with this, subtle or brazen, as you have fibro walls to paint I could be adventures with colours. Depending on what you would like. But I don’t know what you would prefer! I could be here for quite some time doing all the wrong colours since I don’t have you to guide me. Let me know when you are in again so I can start for you. I was going to start a new thread, but thought i best revive this one! extremely late reply can only be put down to 'baby brain' after the bub came along, all my plans and idea's for the repaint were put on the backburner! but, anyways, if your still willing to throw me some suggestions, i'd love to hear them, and yes i will visit this forum at least once a day, i promise!! FRONT *the front of house still remains the same, (although I wouldnt mind pulling that little pergola thing down) and we won't be changing the roof colour. BACK *we have since built a pergola over the entire concrete slab at the rear of the house (see picture below) the posts, framework etc is painted oboe d'amore, with a laserlite roof in opal. we have also a privacy screen made of merbau running down the lhs. *we are about to -deck over the concrete, yet to decide on merbau or treated pine -pull those big death trap windows out and replace with sliding doors ok, well i hope ive given enough info for now!!? (if it would really help you more, i can try and take some photo's tomorrow 'with pergola') Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: exterior colour 7Dec 08, 2008 5:05 pm Cobylee…am I getting a feeling you live down here on the South Coast??

Things are in a bit of a twist for me at the moment, my heads not working well. Did you ask about fencing somewhere? Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: exterior colour 10Dec 08, 2008 6:42 pm Question….are your walls, and I’m sure they are by the age of the home….. asbestos? Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: exterior colour 11Dec 08, 2008 7:45 pm yeh i did ask about that fencing somewhere, want to replace the daggy one at the front, but would like it taller to block a little more traffic noise, and also help contain the kids!
yeh, Im fairly sure i was told that it is fibro/asbestos... Re: exterior colour 12Dec 08, 2008 7:48 pm Your fence just needs a brickie, then he will render it.
You just need to come up with a style you like. Have you thought about cladding your home? Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: exterior colour 14Dec 11, 2008 5:16 pm Cobylee, I really love your sash windows!
Sorry it’s taken me so long to get back to you, lots going on. You obviously want a colour on the house, what colours don’t you like, just so I don’t do that. Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: exterior colour 16Dec 11, 2008 6:22 pm cobylee yeh, just a repaint. since the roof won't be changing I was sort of leaning towards natural tones, stone, sand, rock etc?
