Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jun 12, 2011 12:50 pm Hi guys and girls, I'm building a Masterton home and have to choose paint from the Taubmans range. I am currently thinking about using Pebble Bay throughout. Has anyone used this? Do you love it? I want something neutral, not too light but not dark, and I dont want any hint of cream or pink in it. For the ceilings I am thinking China Doll. I also like Weathered Stone as a feature wall in the family room (behind the TV), and Zelda, which is dark, as a feature wall in the home theatre (behind the TV). For the main bathroom I like Kenyan Stone, a very cool olive colour. All other walls Pebble Bay. I should also note that I am having an all white kitchen. What do you think? Thanks Re: Anyone used Taubmans Pebble Bay & WDYT of my selections? 2Jun 14, 2011 6:38 pm Hi Novo…..I’m a Dulux girl, but I think I’ve used Pebble Bay at some stage for clients, no photos I’m afraid. Are all your colours from Taubmans? I think China Doll is Dulux? I haven't used Pebble Bay and Zelda internally before, as my clients tend to go for the Martini/Torte sort of colours for internal - but from memory Pebble Bay is in the same toning and roughly between Martini and Torte, so will go well. I'm not familiar with Weathered Stone or Kenyan Stone and don't have my Taubmans fan-deck of colours with me, but sounds like your taste is already on track Re: Anyone used Taubmans Pebble Bay & WDYT of my selections? 4Jun 15, 2011 12:53 pm Thanks for the replies Yes Pebble Bay is just a shade darker than Martini. After I chose Pebble Bay I was at my sister in laws brand new house and I really liked the colour she had painted. It turns out it is Martini, so I thought no wonder I like it! Pebble Bay is just a bit darker which is what I want, so I think I have chosen the right colour. Good to hear that China Doll is popular too. Are feature walls still 'in'?
