Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jun 06, 2011 5:53 am Hi all I'm new here, but am wondering if anyone can recommend a greige paint? I'm looking for something that's not grey, and not beige, but somewhere in between. I'd like it to be on the light side, but still creates a nice contrast to doors and trims painted in say Antique White USA. I'd also like it to be slightly warm, but still cool - if you know what I mean! I am hopeless with colours but would love to hear all your suggestions! I love shabby chic and anything feminine and romantic! Thanks Re: Greige Paint recommendation 2Jun 06, 2011 9:56 am My favourite is Dulux Limed White. We have full strength in our bedroom and my study and half strength everywhere else in the house. At some times of the day it looks grey and other times its a beautiful cool stoney colour - not beige but not grey either. It tones really well with a set of our towels which are "Stone" in colour. The exterior of our house is Dulux Raw Cashew Nut which is similar in tonings but a little warmer. Re: Greige Paint recommendation 5Jun 06, 2011 1:25 pm Second the White Duck 1/2 suggestion... I love it Re: Greige Paint recommendation 7Jun 07, 2011 1:14 am xquisite Ooh, I said this on your other post but I like dulux beige royal - full strength if you can get away with it. Have to agree... Walls are painted Dulux Beige Royal 1/2 and Wattyl Oriental White. As you can see the colour comes up differently depending on light.
