Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Mar 30, 2011 8:43 pm Hi All, I'm probably about 10 weeks away from moving into my first home and will be pretty much starting new when it comes to furniture. Buying new furniture may sound exciting to some but i'm absolutely hopeless when it comes to selecting furniture & colours that co-ordinate.. Its something that i've accepted I will always suck at and the thought of myself doing it for an entire house could only end in disaster.. As a result of this, i'm wondering if anyone knows of good interior decorator companies in Melbourne that specialise in turnkey solutions? Basically i'm looking for an arrangement whereby I provide a high level overview of the style i'm after, set a budget and identify which rooms I want decorated and they do everything else (i.e. design, furniture selection, sourcing, delivery and placement). I found the following company (http://www.completepad.com/) that seems to be exactly what i'm after. They also seem to offer trade prices on the furniture and fixed costs for their work. The only problem is that they are based in Sydney.. Does anyone know if any companies like this in Melbourne? Thanks Re: Turnkey interior decorating 2Mar 31, 2011 5:42 am If you read on the bottom of the site, it says they are a division of Touch Interiors, I think they are from QD? Send Touch Interiors an email and ask them do they have suppliers in Melbourne. I pretty much know the look i'm going for and have already viewed quite a few furniture items that I think would work well (though haven't purchased). Instead of just randomly selecting one, can anyone recommend a good decorator in the north of Melbourne who would be happy to come on-site? feel free to PM me. thanks 0 2020 I am looking for someone who might have tackled a similar issue as me.
