Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge Re: Interior Furniture colors - please help. 6Apr 05, 2011 12:39 pm I have always liked the idea of looking more modern, i think the white or black chairs with chrome legs is always the best option. Black will be more suitable for kids if that's the plan for the future.

Re: Interior Furniture colors - please help. 8Apr 11, 2011 9:00 pm For your dining, I think the white chiars from Harvey Norman are nice, but I wondered about matching it with a modern wooden table/ italian modern style, also your shop of choice has a waratah setting which looks quite nice. as for your lounge setting you can choose a more vibrant colour which you can then use for accents Re: Interior Furniture colors - please help. 9Apr 13, 2011 9:39 am The kids questions is a good one. Personally, I would stick to darky earthy colours in your lounge area and I like Abby's idea of timber dining table with white chairs. I think if you purchase a modern plasticky type dining table it will feel a bit over industrialised and cold - but each to their own, you may like that type of thing! Also too if your larger furnishings like lounge, tables, ent unit etc are same colour scheme as paint and tiles etc you can go crazy with colours with your soft furnishings which also makes it cheaper if you want to change your look thus can do it more often - if you please.
