Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Apr 08, 2010 1:12 am I am planning to reinstall the carpet in one room of my house. I want to match this carpet exactly to the carpet in the hallway outside the room. I have read a lot of instructions on the Internet describing how to install a carpet but they do not describe if it is possible to match the carpet seamlessly between two different sections of the floor and what precautions I should take to do it. So it must be possible. Appreciate your help. Re: How to match carpet seamlessly? 2Apr 08, 2010 1:37 am Hmm rather odd! Carpet installation and seaming is a SKILL. It requires not only a good kit of tools, but skills and experience that professional carpet installers take many years to develop..... and you think you can surf the net and lay a carpet just like that??? Seriously, get a professional in! Ash. Re: How to match carpet seamlessly? 3Apr 08, 2010 6:04 am royalblue Hmm rather odd! Carpet installation and seaming is a SKILL.
