Good luck! ____________________ Re: Advice on feature wall colour please! 22Nov 18, 2010 7:25 am We have wattyl igloo as a main colour in the living areas of our house and our main bedroom and flokati in the minor bedrooms/main bathroom etc section of the house. These are lighter but on the same kind of tone/shade as wattyl donkey. I'm wittling my list down to hopefully 2-3 colours to get for my samples. I still really love Donkey, just worried that it may be a little too dark against the natural white walls...however, that is what a feature wall is isn't it? A contrast?? Will have some pictures for you over the weekend! Thanks again! Re: Advice on feature wall colour please! 24Dec 02, 2010 8:34 am Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been back to report on my choices! Tried to upload photos, but my computer is not being co-operative... Anyhoo...we went with Donkey and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! It looks stunning and matches everything beautifully! Hopefully I can put some pictures up soon to show you Thank you for all your help!! Re: Advice on feature wall colour please! 25Jan 27, 2011 8:33 am Hey guys! Thought I would post my pics of our choice for our feature wall. We ended up going Wattyl Donkey in 1/2 strength. Very happy with the result! My partner keeps wanting to paint more walls that colour (trying my best to explain the whole 'feature' wall concept to him ) We painted the wrap-around wall that you will see from our kitchen/dining and family room... I must say that I agree with your partner though, and would use it on other walls as well. Yeah, I think I will...maybe in the guest room or study perhaps? We're both a little over painting at the moment, so it won't be for awhile!! Re: Advice on feature wall colour please! - What about blind 31Jan 31, 2011 3:23 pm Hey guys, Now that the paint colours are sorted, I'm having a dilemna about blinds. In the kitchen/dining/family area, there are two sliding doors (3 x glass panels), 1 window between the sliders that is on an angle and goes down to the floor (is about 1800 wide) and two skinny windows (roughly 800 wide) in the actual dining room. For the windows, I want to have double rollers and for the sliders, I want panel glides. My dilemna is the colours. I did pick out a brown and white sunscreen with beige blockout (having the blockout only on the sliders and big window), but when I came home, I found this colour on the Freedom website and fell in love. However, I'm unsure how it will match the wattyl donkey and tiles. I've attached a photo of the blind colour and our tile. I couldn't find a picture of the fabric I picked out in store, but it is from Dollar Curtain and Blinds and is called Tuscany Ash and Dawn Beige.
