Re: Show me your Christmas Tree (and other festive tit-bits! 56Dec 02, 2010 7:52 am I put up our tree last night - 2 hrs and that got me the tree up, lights and a few decorations. I still need to spend about 2 hrs tonight doing the bows, icicles and tinsel. Haven't found a decent star yet - that's next on my list Fairy Blue - what size tree is yours? Mine is 2.4m tall (which I think equates to about 9ft). Next year I will definitely sell our existing tree and get one the same height, but smaller in diameter (the current one is 1.5m diameter and just takes up too much room!) After 4 years - we're in! Mine is 2.4m tall (which I think equates to about 9ft). Mine is 8ft, ceilings aren't high enough for a 9ft christmas tree! I had the same problem with decorating it! It takes soooo much longer just to put it up and then to decorate it. We all lost interest in the end. I keep seeing areas that need more decoration!
