Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge Re: Which would you choose? 21Nov 29, 2007 10:09 pm Hi Mikita, try using Photobucket for uploading of pics to this site.
I upload files using a site called http://www.photobucket.com. 1. Get yourself a username and password (it's free) 2. You can then upload photos from your pc, mobile phone, url or video to your photobucket account. 3. Click browse, locate the item on your pc and click open. 4. Then click the upload button. It's very quick. 5. Once uploaded to your account, scroll down and it shows you in your own little "album". 6. Others might do it differently but i tick the box of the item(s) i want to upload then 7. scroll down the page and click [generate html and img code] 8. The copy and paste it into your post for homeone. Other people use different programs, but try photobucket. its pretty easy. If you have any issues, let us know. Hope to see some pics soon... Re: Which would you choose? 23Nov 29, 2007 11:03 pm Good onya Mikita!
The room is pretty spacious with high ceilings and decent window areas, so it can carry the darker colours OK (IMO). They've matched the carpet with the feature wall. If you change to a different colour, you'd probably have to also match the wall colour too. Re: Which would you choose? 24Nov 30, 2007 8:42 am Well said Ash!!!! This is why display homes are display homes!
It all looks so nice!!!! It’s all about presentation to sell! As Ash said, the room is large; in fact it looks like a Motel room it’s that big! This room has been done very carefully with all its fittings and fabrics. The chocolate looks lovely, there’s no doubt about that, but this is just ONE room, and I still say if not done properly the rooms could be a bit dark. I like the choc….I DO!!! But I’m picturing this room with a lighter carpet….and to me it looks more inviting. Up to you, just my opinion, don’t get caught up with the latest trends over appeal and ascetics.
