Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Nov 06, 2010 8:46 am I have been looking for some spray or paint on sealer that i can put over my Fabric Art to make them waterproof for Outdoor use. It has to be clear in colour Michelle, you mentioned it to me about 12 months ago and said that it was in Bunnings but i can not find it. I don't think you even knew the name back then but i am just wondering if you might know it now, you also said that it is quite expensive. I really want to do some Outdoor Fabric Art for myself but just do not know what to put on it to make it Waterproof. So if anyone knows what i am talking about i would love to hear from you. I have not been on here for ages as i have had some family issues with my Dad passing away suddenly and unexpectedly and also my 98 year old Grandmother is not too good but refuses to go to a nursing home, so Husband and I are looking after her in our spare time (what spare time!!!) Re: Does anyone know where i can find this & what it is call 2Nov 06, 2010 10:17 am I used to cover my work in pva glue. There are spray on sealers that you can get from any craft/art supply store. Try online. Good luck and would love to see the finished product. Doh as Homer would say. Why didn't i think of that. My mind is all over the place at the moment and i just can't seem to think straight with what is going on at the moment. I am off in search of that now. I hope that it will give it a kind of thick clear coating to make it totally waterproof back and front. I will post a picture on here if and when i get them done. I have some Colourbond fences on my pergola that i want to pretty up and also to brighten up the brick walls as well with some Art. Thanks again from Kim Re: Does anyone know where i can find this & what it is call 4Nov 06, 2010 11:23 am Ah just found this product called 'Mod Podge', has anybody here used it? I want a thick acrylic gloss coating to finish the Fabric, does this make sense.
