Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Oct 24, 2010 8:09 am Hi fellow decorators! I have selected HB 1/4 for walls, doors, archs and skirtings, with antique white for the ceiling. The floor is a matt light grey 40x40. Now my question is - should I break it up with the antique white (or similar) for the doors, skirts and archs? Or will this be a crazy idea? Anyone have any pics with their similar setup? Re: Door, Arc & Skirt Colour with HB 1/4? 2Oct 24, 2010 9:40 am HI David, I haven't used HB 1/4 before, but as it is on the lighter side, I'm not sure a white on dorrs/skirts and archs would be a contrast?? I think I'd leave it as HB 1/4. Hmmm have you had a search on here for pictures? Let me see if I can find some for you..... Nope not much luck.......sorry! Still not in. Don't ask!? Black on light wood does look good. Not sure if it will be as long lasting as a steel finish? 6 6352 I’m in a similar position except I’m after sliding 3 stacking doors. I am on a second-story apartment of which the balcony would not adequately fit any bi-fold or… 5 16150 Current door width is approx 2700, looking to have double doors fitted 820-820. What size does the frame need to be before door jamb? Thanks 0 3548 |
