Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Oct 23, 2010 9:10 am Goodmorning All Upon receiving good advice from here I have decided to go with the idea of having an Interior Decorator visit to advise me on colors to paint my home. Okay, so I contacted DULUX and they have gotten into contact with an appropriate person to advise me. That person is visiting on Tuesday. Now my question is; what do I expect from the interior decorator? How long approx will she be there? will she put it into writing her suggestions? I am hoping that there may be a few people who have had experience with this kind of thing as I clearly have no clue Thankyou Everyone. She was really lovely, went through the house inside and out and then gave me a book with all the colour swatches and which rooms/walls to paint them on. I think she stayed about 2 hours. We've since changed the style of our home so her colours wouldn't work for us now as we came up with our own colours (we've gone coastal / Hamptons style) but it was a good service to use at the time.
