Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Oct 13, 2010 6:55 pm We have told the builder that we want this colour but now I think it might be too grey?? These are our tile and colour selections http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k18/becpee/GetAttachmentaspx.jpg The big one on the bottom is the floor throughout and bathroom walls http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k18/becpee/GetAttachment-1aspx.jpg Kitchen colours http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k18/becpee/GetAttachment-2aspx.jpg Main bathroom http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k18/becpee/GetAttachment-3aspx.jpg Ensuite http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k18/becpee/GetAttachment-4aspx.jpg Powder room, and this will have the long patterned feature tile in the top pic. We don't want the house to seem grey though, was thinking "flokati" but that may not be enough of a contrast with the "oriental white" that we have chosen for our skirts and doors and architraves. Thoughts? I don't have pics with the tiles in at the moment. Those pics will be available at the end of the weekend (hopefully). Our 'theme' is generally greys also. Your colour selections are gorgeous! I would have died to use that damask tile in our ensuite! I definitely don't think it's too grey at all considering all the tiles you have chosen are quite light in colour... it really all just works with eachother. Don't doubt the choices you've made! It will look fantastic! I actually wish I had went with kid leather too with our walls, but since our floor tile is quite dark it would have probably looked quite morbid!!! We've gone with oriental white funnily enough, but I will be doing feature walls throughout the house!! Re: Wattyl colour kid leather, too grey? 5Oct 18, 2010 8:57 am Thanks for your replies, I really was in two minds but have decided to change it (again) to New Pearly Gates, with New Soft Blush trims. Part of my decision was to do with our last home, we had warm neutral almost all the way through and kid leather was very close, just wanted something a little different I guess. Now we're just waiting on our final variation, must go through it with a fine tooth comb My building thread : viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36059 Paid initial deposit 24/7/10 Tender appointment 20/8/2010 Flooring and tile appointment 25/9/10 Colour and Electrical appointment 13/9/10 December site start delayed Site start (YAY!) 17/1/11 Slab pour 1/2/2011 It will be neat but you won't have much freeboard.
